buf-tour's Issues

Documentation error in buf.build/docs/tutorials/getting-started-with-bsr/

At https://buf.build/docs/tutorials/getting-started-with-bsr/#update-buf-gen-yaml the following documented buf.gen.yaml diff lines seem incorrect:

 - - plugin: buf.build/protocolbuffers/go
 - out: gen
 - opt: paths=source_relative

If these lines get deleted as indicated there, not all required code will get generated, which again leads to follow-up errors in the tutorial. The finished code at https://github.com/bufbuild/buf-tour/blob/main/finish/getting-started-with-bsr/buf.gen.yaml also still includes these lines, which is also not in line with the above.

`buf curl` example doesn't work

Copy paste seems broken on the website:

2023-05-21-145442.mp4

After manually copying the command I get this error:

➜ getting-started-with-buf-cli git:(main) ✗ buf --version
1.19.0
➜ getting-started-with-buf-cli git:(main) ✗ pwd
/home/alex/workspace/github.com/bufbuild/buf-tour/start/getting-started-with-buf-cli
➜ getting-started-with-buf-cli git:(main) ✗ buf curl \

--data '{"pet_type": "PET_TYPE_SNAKE", "name": "Ekans"}' \
http://localhost:8080/pet.v1.PetStoreService/PutPet
proto/pet/v1/pet.proto:5:8:google/type/datetime.proto: does not exist
