This tool will allow you to bypass VMProtect .NET AntiDebugger. Made by Cabbo.

How it works

Using HarmonyLib, it hooks "System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.AllocHGlobal", used by VMProtect to check if you are running the protected assembly under a debugger.

The program has been tested with VMProtect 3.5.0 (Max settings).

How to use it

Drop VMPBypass.exe in DNSpyEx. Choose the file to patch with, and press enter.

🐛 Issue: VMPBypass tool not working with VMProtect 4.0.0

👋 Hello everyone,

I've been using VMPBypass to bypass VMProtect .NET AntiDebugger in my projects and it has been working great. However, I recently updated to VMProtect 4.0.0 and noticed that VMPBypass no longer works.

🔍 After some investigation, I found that the HarmonyLib hook is not being triggered when using VMProtect 4.0.0.

🔧 Steps to reproduce:

Install VMProtect 4.0.0
Try to bypass VMProtect .NET AntiDebugger using VMPBypass

❗️ Expected result:
VMPBypass should successfully bypass VMProtect .NET AntiDebugger.

🚫 Actual result:
VMPBypass fails to bypass VMProtect .NET AntiDebugger when using VMProtect 4.0.0.

👨‍💻 Workaround:
Currently, there is no workaround for this issue. However, I have contacted the developer, Cabbo, and he has assured me that he is working on an update to fix the issue.
