The CLI type scripts should have autocompletion support for argparse. Typing is for chumps.

This would allow clients to perform actions when something happens at the admin level. Events could include:

• Server Start
• Server Stop
• Server Restart
• Starting backup
• Finishing backup

The last two would be added after the backup feature is added.

Its really out of date and incomplete

It would be very helpful if you could know if it was possible to check if the server was running. This probably can't be done 100% to satisfaction in a cross-platform way but it just needs to be close enough.

Both are rather limited but are built-in. Other options could be made.

A client for the minecraft query protocol would be helpful

Some major refactoring needs to be done to make this usable for outside stuff. It shouldn't be usable for only the current script.

If RCon isn't enabled in the server settings the server will start anyway and can't be stopped. This should be forced or create a warning.

Add command for backing up the world if the server is off. Should allow for multiple backups and configurable storage location.

Add option for specifying a scheduled server stop. The server would send messages to the clients telling them of an impending server stop.

A terminal interface running over RCon and Query would allow for remote administration without SSH access.
