from flask-server activate your virtual environment: https://docs.python.org/3/library/venv.html (i.e. to create a new venv python3 -m venv .venv, to activate this source .venv/bin/activate)

install dependencies: run pip install -r requirements.txt

run python3 app.py to start the flask server
