This is the plugin is required to connect your WordPress site to Caldera Forms Pro if you have Caldera Forms 1.5.1 - 1.5.7.1

Please note, this plugin requires:

Caldera Forms 1.5.1 or later
WordPress 4.7 or later
PHP 5.6 or later

Get Client Plugin links to Github

Hey

Clicking Get Client Plugin links to Github. Would it be better to just have it link to a page at caldera Forms Pro site with a download link mirroring the Github release?

Figure out how to support entry tracking disabled or explicitly disallow it.

#40 and #41 are symptoms but I don't see how its currently written that this could work at all.

Editing Layout: Set Row columns feels glitchy

I clicked the Set Row columns:

It feels glitchy.
More testing is needed for the Layout section which I can do after some fixes are made.
(I am also trying in the back of my mind to look at how something even more basic can be used in Caldera Forms for easily creating an email to the admin and user.)

Add a description to the plugin so that it shows up above the version number.

First time entering "Welcome to Caldera Forms Pro"

Enteringng the following page without really reading about Caldera Forms Pro I get hesitant with what to do now.

What about an initial welcome to Caldera Forms Pro video. In the top area as a dialog box etc. Giving a warn welcome. Showcasing what can be done on this page etc. A 5 minute or so intro the user can easily close and then move on to discover the options.

Clicking "Setting up WordPress For Caldera Forms Pro" link opens a new page with a lot of text.

----> What about renaming to overview/summery etc? To give a clear idea that the following paragraph just gives an overview of what you need to do.

"After you login, you will ask to select which of your Caldera Forms Pro accounts you wish to use, by public key. We make it possible to have more than one account so if you develop sites for clients, you can give each one a different account."

---> What about giving the option to also have a site name? Meaning Public and Secret keys AND a site name. So instead of having to select the public key in the account one can select the site name. It would make it easier for users to manage their various client sites.

"Note: Fancy layouts are a feature of the Awesome and Apex plans. The Basic plan uses the default layout created in Caldera Forms. If you have the basic plan, you can play with the layout builder, which is fun, but not use it to make your emails and PDFs look awesome."

----> Its kinda like saying well you selected the cheapest plan so your not getting the frickin awesome layout builder but a crappy simple layout builder. Lift up all the plans and just make it even more clear as to what the difference.

Create or edit layout in the app

Clicking the Create or edit layout in the app leads to:

I login and get a choice to click the key mentioned.

Here the key has uppercase letters while the key in the backend of the site has upper and lower case characters. It would be nice to keep it identical.

After having filled in the private and public keys and pressing save the Form Settings show up below:

Clicking the Email Layout and PDF Layout boxes beside the three forms nothing happens. Nothing can be done there yet. It would be good with somekind of signal or message coming up saying something about click the Create or edit layouts in the app.

I will get back to this issue and I experiment some more.

There is a word Trialling that shows up twice in the confirmation message after having purchased the service.

It really should be trial or demo.

Well I just looked up the word Trialling and it is actually used. Not a word that I am familier with though. I will still post this issue so you can think about it.

Manage Images - alt tag description almost invisible

I am in the Manage images area.

Adjusting the alt tag as can be seen here would be good. Image Description is almost invisible in relation to the image. Perhaps a dark overlay over the image making the boxes stand out better.

Clicking outside of the Text field or buttons could just close it. As I do not want to adjust the alt tag, click save or click delete. I need to click something like Support or any other tab and then click Manage Images again for it to close.

Caldera_Forms_Entry->get_entry() doesn't always return an object. Why not? Pretty sure beacuse entry saving is off for the form.

I am now looking at the messages area:

I clicked the magnify icon to see what the detailed message looked like, but I am getting a bouncy error message box instead. I click to close and then I notice an orange spinner telling me something is going on, and I wait for a little bit but nothing happens.

Manage Images - Delete and Edit Alt Text low contrast text and button background

Clicking the 3 vertical dots brings up the dialog box to Delete or Edit alt text.

White on light grey is a very low contrast combination. It would be good with a higher contrast. It is straining on the eyes.

Manage Images: Not able to delete images

I have added some images and now I want to delete them.

The spinner goes around and around in a forever loop. I give up and click another tab. Then go back again and click delete again. This time it is deleted. Now it instead shows up like this:
