stock-screener-bovespa's Introduction

Stock-Screener-bovespa

This code collects data on selected Bovespa shares and makes an analysis based on "deep value investing", created by Benjamin Graham (Warren Buffett's mentor) explained in the book The Intelligent Investor, widely used by Buffett himself and by Walter Schloss, two of greatest investors of all time. The code classifies the shares by EV / EBIT in ascending order and excludes negative EBIT margin and financial volume lower than 200 thousand. The input file (tickers.dat) that contains the stock tickers has no financial stocks like banks and insurance companies nor BDRs. Feel free to edit it and delete or include any desired stocks.
