basket-for-students's Introduction

Food2Go

Android app to order food from the different places on a school's campus from your phone. Currently in development.

How To Run

Download Android Studio, Java and run on emulator or physical device.

To create an account you will need a @students.suu.edu email address

Functionality

Firebase real-time database storage for backend.

Picasso for caching of images retrieved.

RecyclerView & CardView for UI.

FirebaseUI to easily populate our RecyclerView with UI elements retrieved from the Firebase database.

Material Design features are used to provide a better UX. A CoordinatorLayout is implemented with a CollapsingToolbarLayout to create animations during user navigation.

Room & Dagger for SQLite.
