This morning I discovered that 1 of my 4 Spirit valves had not decreased it's set temperature, as was 'instructed' by a flow.

I made a test flow with 2 Spirit valves, and oddly enough every time one of the 2 valves has a communication problem. One works, one gets a red triangle, next test after some second, this happens again, but now the other Spirits gets a triangle.

I put both Spirits in the same flow and added an extra card to do the same temperature set, but after 15 seconds. This is the result:

The Spitits mesh shows this:

So, they 'hop' via another node.

On the same first floor I have another Spirit that has a direct link to Homey:

I am fairly new on github, but have managed to tested the SDKv2 version (v2.0.0) of Eurotronic on Homey v2.0.0-rc7 . It seems hat the Comet is working reasonably well, but I don't see the measured temperature in homey changing.
Are you familiair with this and is are you still working on this app?

thanks for adding valve-position to insights.
However since a few days (I think right after the last update) there seems to be very poor connection to my Spirit. I constantly get timout errors.
Potentially related to any of the last changes? It seems better if Homey is closer to the valve, but no problems before and only 5 meters away in adjacent room....

Version 1 used to show temperature.
Ver 2.. Beta.. Sdk 2 doesn't show anymore.

I know there is a similar issue for the comet

Since the last homey update (2.0.0) I am unable to change the external_room_temp parameter in the advanced settings screen. Other settings can be adjusted without error. The error:

• With previous homey 2.0 versions (I know for sure 2.0-rc8 and the Eurotronic 2.0.0 beta app) this was working fine. I installed the eurotronic beta app december 28.
• All my spirit valves show this error when I change this parameter.

I have two valves that have the external room temp setting setting enabled. The flows that push the temps from temp sensors also generate an error: "no temperature given", but the tags are there. This is the case for all valves (so with and without the "external room temp" setting enabled).

I have installed 2 Eurotronic Spirit.
1 worked perfectly.
The other gave problems and I removed them from Homey.
At least, that was the intention.
Homey indicates that he has been removed, but he is still in my devices.
He is also displayed in the network.

I could pair the device with homey again, but the old one stayed in it
See Figure 38 is the new link and working properly.
37 must actually have disappeared.

Can I fix this?

My Valve is reporting for about every 10 minutes a popup saying: Temperatuur slaapkamer veranderd.

I have disabled the app and also the notifications. How is this possible?
It would be great if you can enable popups per valve.

I thinking of buying spirit thermostat but with zigbee protocol. I don’t have Any zwave devices om my homey and I don’t want any issues with range. Are you maybe considering of supporting zigbee protocol for spirit thermostats?

Well... Issue... More like a question.

I tried to ad a fourth option of the StellaZ device's "eurotronic_mode" to directly set the valve position of the StellaZ. This is a documented option and for me very useful for implementing the StellaZ in combination with Floor heating.

After adding this option at all places I think necessary and testing the app on Homey I get the following message:

Thx for the fix #16 in v2.01, it works fine.

If I try to send a temperature to a spirit valve via flow temp does not update.
This is the case for all my 4 valves that rely on external temp sensors.
The device seems to report the temperature of the internal sensor (as if not in external tmp sensor mode). Testing the flow reveals an error message:

Chaild Protection not set from flows and menu. From Advanced settings its set OK

Theres are variants of the Z-wave thermostat which are labeled as AEOTEC devices. Those are only recognized as general Z-wave device. Would be great if they also would ne supported.

Spirit Z-Wave not stable connection, strange mesh paths of the way, even devices in direct line of sight (2 meters without barriers) connected to the hub through the next room! To deliver settings, you have to transfer them constantly, every minute, all the time.

Hi, tried to change the protection status of my spirit device based on flow without success. Tried to protect the device in Mode ECO, Comfortable, manual, in all cases the status is not changeable.

Since a couple of days I have 6 Eurotronic Spirit's. I notice that the Spirit's are not reporting back that they have (or have not) executed a command. Is this an issue of my settings (Homey user) or does the Homey app does not have this feature?

Would it be possible that when the mode is off not 8 degrees are displayed but 0 or even off?

When I try to set the 'economic temperature', the cards go grey and say (Dutch error) "Dit kaartje is onbeschikbaar" for a few seconds. This happens both when using a 'Logic variable' as a target temperature and when using the temperature slider.

I don't know if it's related, but the temperature slider doesn't properly show a degrees-sign: "16°C" rather than "16°C"

Hi, I would like to create a flow that checks every 5 minutes all valves if there is a status Off. If all has the status Off the Heating can go off. This doesn't work so i tried with just one valve. Doesn't work either. I included the status of the Valve in the screenshot so you can see the status is actually off. Also tried other valve, but same result. (if this works i would like tho create another flow with opposite function)

Hi I am using the beta app and noticed that not all Valve are really off when turned off.
Also i noticed I that the 'Handmatige positie" value of one of my 4 Spirits is different: where does this come from? I would expect to see the same 'Handmatige positie" value if running in same mode like uit, eco, or comfort

Installation of the app consistently fails.

Installation of the beta version works fine

The option is enabled in advanced settings, a flow (WHEN temp of external sensor changes THEN send temp value to Valve) is created.

However: it doesn’t work. The temp value of the external sensor is not recognised nor shown in the app. Furthermore there is no variable in the webDev App that’s showing a handover of the temp data.

Therefore there is no proof at all for this on working.
eg the valve shows 16 degrees while the ext sensor reports 19 degrees. As the temp at the valve wa set to 18.5 degrees it says “heating towards” (15 -> 18.5). This tells me it simply is not working.

Hello, I would like to change spirit tempature +1 C or more since it then matches my other tempature device what is more realistic. because of this i have set calibration. Tried 1 and 1,4 but it makes no difference.

Hi, I added 2 Spirit Z-Wave Thermostats to my Homey and additionally one Devolo Roomthermostat.
I changed the setting of the Spirit device - setting "External Roomtemperature" from unabled to enabled.
I added a flow like this: When "The temperature (not target temp) changed (Devolo)" then "Send room temperature #temp to Spirit Z-Wave". Additionally the flow also send me the #temp to my mobile.

Devolo device is working as expected based on the info I received on my mobile, but when I check the shown temperature of the Spirit afterwards, it shows its own temp measurement. I tried it with both, Spirits, same result. Except backlight of and screen rotation, all Spirit settings are the default ones.

I just got 2 spirit stats.. Neither are showing the current temperature.

I also Opened an issue for the Stella Z with the same issue

Eutortonic Spirit: The temperature panel displays "current temperature" correctly, but instead of target temperature I can only see the dash and cannot set it. See screenshot.

Using Spirits.

When I try to change the heating type via a flow, it marks it as 'done' but in the end it doesn't do anything. It shoots no error. It just doesn't change the setting.

Changing it 'manually' works properly.

Within Homey I still see only the comfort Temperatur, while the Spirit is in Eco mode. but the Spirit show the eco temperature on his display. Could you do something to fix thar?

The heating season had begun and I bought 2 extra eurotronics spirit z-wave.

I have experiencing a very strange glitch. When I go sleep I set the temperature to 8 degrees Celsius. When I wake up I see that in the room is 24 degrees but on the display is still 8 degrees. I turn it to off mode and I hear that the valve is closing completely and than again to 21 or so I hear and it works fine.

I can’t really explain it this glitch I have on both thermostats a few times now.

At first I thought that the external temperature sensor is not sending right temperature but after checking it the every thing was fine.

It can be still an issue with a external temperature reading but I can’t check if the variable is in the food place. In the app I can see that sensor is getting a good reading.

It looks like the valve isn’t closing when set to low temperature but it hangs on the old temperature setting and it’s ignoring the temperature sensor.

Furthermore everything is working great but that issue is quite frustrating.

I will send logs to this issue it happend yesterday night.

I have a flow that checks if the thermostat is in a specific mode, and if it's not it should set it as suck:

Trigger: If the temperature has changed
And: If the thermostat mode is not "Economische" (Dutch)
(some math.js function)
Then: Set the thermostat to "Economische"

The first "And" line always matches even though it shouldn't (it my example it should not match, as it is already in 'Economische' mode)

I made a flow to change the heat mode to off, if the window in our kitchen will be open. I wondering why it won‘t work! Then I realized that my Spirit in the living room was off instead of the Spirit in the kitchen. If I start the flow for the kitchen manualy, the Spirit in the living room change the heat mode to off! That‘s strange, isnt it??
But, if i change the heat mode for the kitchen manual within the Homey App, the right Spirit goes off!
