This is a small plugin that allow to change player's swizzle in "Endless Sky" - and keep the colour after ES get updates that change goverments.txt data file.

This plugin is a part of upcoming "Endless Sky: Captain's Edition" reboot of the base game. Stay tuned - meanwhile, installing the plugins can help to preview the experience, together or in parts.

Swizzle Player

Installing

Check: https://github.com/Cat-Lady/swizzle-player/releases

...for latest, pre-packaged version.

1. Unpack swizzle-player to your ES plugins folder. Be sure that you have single swizzle-player directory inside your plugins folder, containing data folder. Directory structure should look like:

(...)/plugins/swizzle-player/(.../data/ and other stuff)

It won't work if the directory structure will be anything like:

(...)/plugins/swizzle-player/swizzle-player/(...)

swizzle-player's Issues

Plugin listing

If you move the plugin metadata to the root of the repository then it will be compatible with most other plugins.

You'd be able to remove the directory about having the right structure in the plugin dir.

It will also make it easy to add a plugin manifest for the community https://github.com/EndlessSkyCommunity/endless-sky-plugins/tree/master/manifests

if you add a manifest then it will show up on the endless sky website https://endless-sky.github.io/plugins.html

• Reorganize the repo so plugin is at root.
• Add plugin manifest for community listing.
