iterm's Issues

Startup macine stats

How to display statistics on the computer with a picture when starting the terminal as in the picture below?

Not enough contrast for cursor colors

The "cursor" and "cursor text" color combination for the frappe, macchiato, and mocha variations, doesn't provide enough contrast, which makes the character under the colors very hard to read.

Why normal black = bright white?

Is it expected to have normal black (ansi 0) the same color with bright white (ansi 15) and why is that?

image

I'm currently working with https://github.com/rivo/tview and the hello world example shows nothing in this theme.

image

This is after I change the bright white (ansi 15) to follow the normal white (ansi 7)

Can't select Dark mode themes

The themes are combined so I can't select the dark versions and it seems it's always stuck on the light versions by default. Unless there's something else in iTerm I could use to force the dark mode. Looking at other iTerm themes, they have separate dark and light versions.

This was after cloning the depot.

Contrast in frappe in some tools

Hi,

i really enjoy this theme, but I have a hard time to read some text.

1st image is rubys irb shell
2nd image is the "daemon restart" dialog after apt install ...

Is there a good way to improve this? What I've found is to raise the minimum contrast in iterm to 30 (3rd screenshot). Is there something better?

Latte contrast?

I don't know if something is wrong with my installation, but Latte is lacking a lot of contrast on iTerm2 beta.

Update to Catppuccin v0.1.1

Hey @VictorTennekes! not sure if you noticed my post on the Discord server announcing this, but we recently released Catppuccin v0.1.1. So I'd like to know if you could update the port.

To pressure tho!

iTerm2 Setup

Not an issue at all, just wondering if you could share your iTerm2 setup to get things looking as they do in the screenshot?

Cursor Guide is the same color as cursor

iTerm's "Cursor Guide" color refers to the color of the background of the line that the cursor is on. Setting it to the same color as the cursor is not desirable.
image

The Neovim theme refers to this as "Cursor line" has some logic to calculate this color https://github.com/catppuccin/nvim/blob/main/lua/catppuccin/groups/editor.lua#L11-L16.

The VS Code theme uses the text color at 0.07 opacity, for some reason.

ASCII Cat Fetch

I really love the cat fetch in the screenshots, and I want to install that on my computer, but couldn't find it. Could you please link it?
Thanks!
