The uses the Crest command line tool to create a consumer and a producer of JMS text based messages.
To add http connector support, not active by default, you need to place on the …/lib folder the optional lib:
…/lib/optional/activemq-http-5.15.8.jar
.
Then, open …/conf/activemq.xml and add the connector configuration. Add this to the <transportConnectors>
section:
<transportConnector name="http" uri="http://0.0.0.0:9090?maximumConnections=1000&wireFormat.maxFrameSize=104857600" />
This will listen to all interfaces (0.0.0.0) on port 9090 and will add DOS protection by limiting the number of connections to 1000 and the maximum payload size to 100MB.
By default you can add TCP based communication:
java -jar target/sample-client-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar produce --uri=tcp://<activeMQ-address>:61616/ --dest=queue://test --count=2 --message="Test"
Consume messages:
java -jar target/sample-client-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar consume --uri=tcp://<activeMQ-address>:61616/ --dest=queue://test
For http based communication:
Produce messages:
java -jar target/sample-client-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar produce --uri=http://<activeMQ-address>:<http port>/ --dest=queue://test --count=2 --message="Test"
Consume messages:
java -jar target/sample-client-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar consume --uri=http://<activeMQ-address>:<http port>/ --dest=queue://test
You can switch the transport protocol in the url.
