Howdy, partner 🤠

 I'm Caleb, but I usually go by Elite online. I have on-off history with programming as far back as 21~22 years now; Starting right before I turned 7. My dad helped initially show me how to do computer repairs, which included performing operations, and making scripts (Back when we still used Floppy Drives). On my free time I started messing around with batch and inspect element,

"Oh, when I changed this value, it just made the text turn red"

...and these curiosity moments sparked my interest to actually learn languages properly.

Non Exhaustive List of Languages I have previously learned.

musicbot's Issues

Add deafened check on track start

If user is deafened when track is about to start, add an option to skip it

Check PrefixLoader and AudioPlayerService init timings

There was previously issues with the inits of these classes firing before the bot was fully started - Causing jda entities (ie. guilds) to be null

Disconnected player stays paused if pause command was initially invoked.

If pause command is invoked, then disconnect is invoked... on rejoin/play it should auto play, instead of remaining paused.

Add/Remove/List staff commands for preventing player access

Add commands for staff to use on players to ban/unban them from using the bot.

Repetitive skipping same song if nothing is in queue.

Skip should not continue to attempt to skip the same song. If there's no next position in the queue, the command should inform the user there are no additional songs to skip when its attempted.

On queue add, update player position within the list.

Visible song list

Add an embed that displays songs queued (Title, Artist, Duration, and who queued it)

Change volume control to staff only

Unchecked pause and resume commands multiple times causes an IllegalStateException

Check if the player is paused before trying to pause, likewise with resume

Add a default volume level

default player volume at 100 is way too loud, set it closer to 20

On user ban, remove their songs from queue

Store previous queue history, and have a configurable limit

Allow player to store previous songs, this will allow for a previous option, and requeueing option

Alternatively just have a history list, and the ability to requeue

Allow staff to remove specific songs from queue.

Change clear command to staff only

Add maximum song length configuration

Add configurations for maximum song length, default is no limit

Add aliases

Let $$play with no arguments invoke $$resume
Let $$next invoke $$skip

Songs aren't staying in queue again

Needs fixed before first deployment

Add playlist configurations

Assignable roles for adding playlists - default is everyone (none)
Config for max song amount - default no limits (duration is checked on a per-song basis)

Add configurable timeout if nothing is playing.

Check voice activity and deafened precondition before commands are allowed.

Add config for whether to allow multiple copies of the song within the same queue

ex. $$duplicatesongs on/off
