NodeBB Plugin which lets users use commends such as /roll 1d6 to generate random values.

This is a plugin to add dice rolling to NodeBB forums! It will go through posts and change any /roll commands into a random dice roll. It will then display the original roll query when you hover over it.

Example:

/roll 3d20+1 will display 4

Reroll syntax

I am considering using this as a dice roller for a play by post campaign.

To do that, I would like to see a couple of things (maybe as options). One is the original roll, not just the result. This is important for folks like Rogues, etc etc that can reroll unlucky rolls or paladins who can reroll ones if that have taken the defensive style.

Something along the lines of

/roll 2d6+2, rr1

Would result in:

3,2 total: 6

That way everyone can be sure their rolls are behaving as appropriate. The rr syntax should take one number or a list of numbers to reroll on, excluding of course all the sides of the die.

Seems to change after a while

Odd bug, changes depending when it's looked at. Maybe look into what is being stored?
