rtd-poetry

Shim to execute full installation of Poetry (including dev dependencies) during builds on Read The Docs.

pyproject.toml before:

[build-system]
requires = ["poetry>=0.12"]
build-backend = "poetry.masonry.api"

pyproject.toml after:

[build-system]
requires = ["poetry>=0.12", "rtd-poetry"]
build-backend = "rtd_poetry"

rtd-poetry's Issues

Transitive dependencies will also include dev requires

Unless installed from wheels, any dependencies that also use rtd-poetry will add their dev requires to the virtual environment.

We need a way in the rtd-poetry backend to identify whether the component we were called for is the one that is being built under RTD.

Can you package the LICENSE for this in the repo?

AttributeError: type object 'Poetry' has no attribute 'create'

It seems that commit 9b286303c04857b56db90ae457de5d86862ea3be (13 Sep 2019) in Poetry's repository removed the create method.

A factory class was added and probably rtd-poetry should instead call Factory().create_poetry(directory) instead of the create method used before.
