Hi,

I really like the new Caroussel view with poster and fanart.
I would however want to see the Genre, pherhaps as Icons stacked at the right side.
I would also like to see the plot outline (short version).

And as I open a Movie I would like to see the full plot (today its shows the Plot Outline).

something i can do easily on xbmc is to add a media source in ftp protocol (added to nfs,smb,afp already supported)
is it supported with boxeehack ?
tried to do so without success

worked in order to allow start XBMC by default BOXEE BOX interface, it starts with the behavior of an app BOXEE BOX.

To be able to quickly mark (highlight) media with the play button. On the left have options like mark all/none and invert. Operations for marked media like set watched/unwatched, remove, etc.

Seems like subtitulos.es do a 302 redirection on download link.

I have set up my media with ember media manager correctly and started rescanning. I have a large media library on a NAS connected via smb. After leaving it on all night, In the morning when I checked it the screen saver had frozen. This has happened twice now.

This page is currently not very efficient. There are a lot of extra empty lines and info is liste in one column only.

A better layout could fit more details and make it more informative.

Additional info such as country, studio, etc could be added to the bottom.

It would be great to show an icon of the video HD quality ( 1080 , 720 ), it could be place in the movie/tvshow details page. If there isn't a way to add it into a database at least as a genre would be useful.

It seems like the Movie detials page is using the short version (plot oultine) and not as I would suggest the long plot. (I manage my Movies/TVshows using Ember MM).

In the caroussel view it might be nice to show the plot oultine.

Hello-

I would love it if you could upgrade the Flash player so Comedy Central's player will work in the browser. It might be an error on their end, or a censorship issue, since most everywhere else plays fine, but it would be nice to watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report online.

Impossible to have differents views/orders at TV Shows and Films. It has to be the same as explained here

I haven't had any luck getting XBMC to automatically launch with BoxeeHack. In an effort to "start fresh," I took the following steps:

Did a factory restore on Boxee Box, deleting all setting first.
Allowed Boxee Box to update to latest firmware.
Installed BoxeeHack 1.5.1 (from memory card).
Uninstalled BoxeeHack 1.5.1 (to make sure there wasn't anything funky left behind from previous installations)
Rebooted and reinstalled BoxeeHack 1.5.1.
Turned off Boxee Box.
Reformatted memory card.
Extracted xbmc13.alpha7.boxeebox2013.09.07.early_alpha_203d7e0.zip and copied the contents of the xbmc folder to the root of the memory card.
Inserted memory card and turned on Boxee Box.

I see the gray boot up screen and then the screen goes black. The LED light next to the memory card slot blinks twice and then there's nothing else. If I eject the memory card and reboot the Boxee Box, BoxeeHacks boots fine.

Are there any log files I can upload to help troubleshoot this issue? Let me know what I can do, I want to help!

It would be awesome if this feature would be implemented. It used to be available in the original boxee.

When you launch a Vimeo video, it launches the website, but it treats the video like you're in it, so you can't move the mouse curser around to play the movie. The direction pad just affects the audio level. You also cannot exit to the browser like you can on YouTube videos. I know this is an issue on 1.5.3 and still in 1.5.5. Thanks!

This option is found in the Network settings of boxee box.
I currently use the imediashare app on my android phone and tablet to stream from android device to Boxee box similar to Airplay. Streaming to the boxee does not work with Boxee+ installed. I reverted back to stock boxee OS just to test, and streaming worked perfectly fine. There seems to be a bug in the "enable streaming from IOS devices" setting with Boxee+. Other users report similar problem when streaming from Apple devices in forum. (see iOS7 Airplay to Boxee Box thread in boxeedin General section) Thanks.

Is there a way to prevent the Boxee splash screen from playing ?

Thanks to you I installed Kodi on my box, and I feel like having two splash screens is a bit too much...

The older versions of subliminal didn't really download subs from addic7ed.
this issue is resolved later on.

I'm currently scripting this externally as addic7ed usually has TV subs much earlier than most other subs sites.

I currently have 2 Boxee Boxes, one with Boxee Hacks 1.6 and a stand old Boxee software one, the last version before they were bought out. Neither one can search the web anymore or down load cover art as I would say a server has been shut down somewhere around 31st Dec 2016. Does anyone know a work around to get a search function back or is there a new version of the Boxee Hack software coming to fix this issue?

Video Airplay stopped working a while ago. Is there any way to get this working again?

I've tried to register on Boxeed In from two different IP subnets and i keep getting a message that my IP address has been blacklisted. Anyone know what's going on?

I would love to see some dynamic range control. Often I find myself boosting the volume to hear dialog and dropping it for explosions, ending up in endlessly tweaking. My sound system does not have these kind of settings, but maybe we can do this in software?

Great work for getting this out quick after the XBMC rebranding changes.

I just upgraded to BoxeeHacks 1.6 from 1.54 (which was modified for the XBMC to Kodi rebrand), and I am now having some issues .
I'm running from a mounted NAS NFS share and it boots into Boxee GUI first then loads Kodi.

@cigamit Is there something I can tweak in the files to fix the issue?

If not is there an easy way to downgrade to 1.54 again?

I have just pulled out my old boxee box and wanted to set it up in my daughters room for watching movies.

however i cant get it to Work.

i tried installing the boxeeplus hack thing and think it is working, however i cant find any movies.
which app do i need to install or what can you recommen this old fart to do in order to get it to Work?

hope someone can help me out, so we can her started and Watch movies to improve her English.

Would this feature be possible? I know there is a service called TraktForBoxee that runs on your server, but it would be nice if the boxee could do it out of the box (pun intended).

Can't seem to find contact info for you anywhere. Boxee finally pulled the plug on their servers, taking down all boxee boxes still being used. I started trying to create my own replacement server by sniffing traffic from my boxes, but then stumbled upon your post via the wayback machine on your forums. Seems you made some progress in a replacement server just for this occasion. Is that code anywhere? I'd love to give it a try and keep these boxee boxes online.

@cigamit xbmc.bin is now kodi.bin in forth coming Helix builds, so this means the checkxbmc.sh and xbmc.sh scripts will need a little adjustment, and anything else you can think of.

I suppose it needs to look for both xbmc.bin and kodi.bin to cover all user installation possibilities.
