chip8-tools

Various tools related to the CHIP-8.

Tools

Disassembler

Shows the instructions for a provided CHIP-8 ROM.

$ c8-disasm --help
Usage: c8-disasm [OPTIONS] --rom <ROM>

Options:
  -r, --rom <ROM>  The ROM file to disassemble
      --pc         Include the program counter
  -h, --help       Print help
  -V, --version    Print version

Example output (abbreviated):

The --pc argument can be used to display the program counter, starting from 0x200, the CHIP-8's load address:
