The quest "Corrupted Sabres" is broken. You get to a point where you speak with the cat and instead of the correct gossip, it says something about being an Alliance commendation officer. This makes it impossible to complete, and leaves you stuck with a cat following you.

Strange. I just tested this quest and I was able to complete it. The creature id for the cat is 10042.
The only problem I encountered was that the gossip text was incorrect. But the gossip OPTION worked. The gossip text was ID 2282 (Hello, $N! I am master engineer, Scooty.)

The quest "Dreadsteed of Xoroth" is badly bugged. Once you fight your way into Dire Maul and get to the spot where you do the ritual, things go wrong. Upon using the jar to release the imp, he attacks you and summons all kinds of baddies to whip your butt. Tons of imps and dreadguards. The three items (candle, bell, and gear) never appear, nor does the summoning circle. I eventually tried simply using the summoning scroll and it worked, but it should not have. This quest is very much out of sync!

During the short quest, Heroes of Old, you are to open a spectral lockbox and get a message, but instead the box simply says "Greetings, ". The quest is completable but the box is bugged.

The quest "Rite of Vision" is bugged. When you induce the vision and the ghost wolf appears (Plains Vision) it just sits there scratching fleas. It never leads players to the cave on the hill.

Well you should be able to enter Black Rock Depths at level 48, seems to be a database error, I've deleted the following entry from areatrigger_teleport -> " id | name | required_level | required_item | required_item2 | required_quest_done | target_map | target_position_x | target_position_y | target_position_z | target_orientation

that seemed to have fixed it.
If you don't delete it, you get the message that "you have to level 60 to enter this instance" in an infinite loop even though you aren't even trying to enter anymore.

The quest "Imp Delivery" is bugged. I am a lv60 undead lock and finished getting the stardust. I then returned to Gorzeeki who presented me with the quest "Imp Delivery", but when I hit "Accept" I am told that I do not meet the requirements for the quest and now I cannot talk to him, he just tries to sell me stuff.
Alright I used GM commands to complete four other quests on a hunch. Before I can do "Imp Delivery" I have to do three quests given by the warlock near the Gorzeeki. After that, I have to get him three arcanite bars. Then he offers me the quest and I can accept it. This is a bug because he should not offer me that quest until I am eligible.

I've looked into this and there is one comment on wowhead having the same problem as you and someone gives them the response of, it probably means you haven't completed the material quests, so I'm not sure if this is a bug.
Ok, it's set to automatically give you 7631, however you need to have completed the material quest in order to get that, so when it tries to give you quest 7631 it says you don't meet the requirements for it, it's not referring to quest 7629. You have now completed 7629 and he now doesn't have any quests to offer so he only sells things. I guess this can be closed now as this isn't a bug.

If I understand the issue correctly, then it sounds like a database quest issue. i.e. Currently.. Complete Quest A, Quest C becomes available but it should be. Complete Quest A, Quest B1,B2,B2 should become available, once all 3 complete, then C becomes available Or Complete Quest A, Quest B1,B2,B2 are next in chain - once all 3 complete, then C becomes available ?

You are correct, Billy. After turning in the quest I should have not received any information or been offered the final quest in the chain. Instead, the other NPC should have lite up with an exclamation mark over his head and offered me the three quests needed. Then once those were turned in, the final quest would unlock.

That should fix it. However, I have no way of testing whether it actually does so if someone would be kind enough to test it and report back it would be greatly appreciated. If not, I get a new PC in March so I can test it then if I still remember

Only revives players 1 time out of 2 countdowns.
Example: A player dies and is sent to the spirit healer. The timer counts down and the player is revived. The player dies again and is sent back to the spirit healer. This time the timer will count down, the healer will cast the res, but the player will stay dead. After the next countdown the player is revived 100% of the time. Seems to not be random, and can be exactly recreated on command.
The quest "Death from below" cannot be completed. Once accepted you can shoot the cannon on the boat, but nothing ever spawns to attack the captain, so the quest just sits. I don't even see an explosion where the cannon is supposed to hit.

The quest "Natural Materials" is broken. My fiance has the quest showing "Complete" in her log and she has all of the items, but she cannot turn it in. There are several other quests in Camp Mojache that exhibit identical behavior. When I run through again with my druid I will get said quests and post them also.

For completion you should get 445 xp. currently it gives 450 xp. Correct pre-TBC value needs to be check.

Added previous questid to quest 1388 because it where available before you finished the first two quests of the line.
Correcting the Quest 1383 to pre TBC Questtext, got from waybackmachine-goblin workshop. Made Deepstrider tumor drop from deepstriders instead of dreaming whelps.

In Westfall, the quest Cluck! (3861) requires Special Chicken Feed (11109) but the quest is not completable. The chicken becomes friendly after you emote /chicken 50 times, but even if you buy chicken feed or use ".additem 11109" it still does not meet the requirement.

The quest "Winterfall Activity" rewarded me 90,000 exp when I turned it in. I believe it should have been 9,000 exp instead. It gave me half a level or close to it at level 58.

The quest "Timbermaw Ally" works except it grants 63,000exp instead of what I assume should be 6,300exp. I just completed it using the build I built tonight from the repository, so this is a current stable build, not testing.

In zones with pool data for herbs and minerals, like Westfall, herbs spawns are spreaded unevenly and are sometimes concentrated in a single place when other places are empty.

In Tanaris the Thistleshrub Rootshakers spawn Earthgrab Totems that, unless I am mistaken, are supposed to slow you in some way. Instead they skid across the ground at high speed until they are close to you, then they proceed to beat the crap out of your character. This is incredibly amusing, but not correct. It reminds me of the way a warrior's fear used to make shaman totems run away in dueling matches.

Splinter Fist Enslaver (1487) in Duskwood do not participate in combat. They will initiate combat within combat radius, as well as always face your direction, and use their net cc ability, but they will not attack.

Quest item drops that do not start quests should only drop if a player is on the associated quest. A good example is Arnak Grimtotem in Thousand Needles. You can kill him both before and after doing his bounty quest and he still drops the quest item (his hoof) though it should only drop during the quest.

This is probably related to condition not existing for concerned items in item_loot_template table. I advice to open an issue for every single item for now.
Some of the battlegrounds NPC emissaries/ambassadors in cities do not always have gossip menus.
With current Steamwheedle Cartel FactionID (169) there is no reputation loss from killing Booty Bay citizens and Bruisers.

Moreover, there are problems with reputation code in CMangos Core... But in any case Steamwheedle Cartel FactionID is wrong. With Booty Bay FactionID all works as inteded - Booty Bay reputation loss applied and then reputation_spillover_template table is used to calculate reputation loss with other Steamwheedle factions.
fixing the "you learn spell" from quest windows, from 6 Quest of Dalar Dawnweaver, adding quest end scripts so dalar dawnweaver cast spell on Player, fixing the not enough mana bug.

Thanks for your classicdb, I run the InstallFullDB.sh, and modified the generated InstallFullDB.config, then re-run the InstallFullDB.sh, and got this:
./InstallFullDB.sh: line 87: .: InstallFullDB.config: file not found
Then I modified the "#!/bin/sh" to "#!/bin/bash" at the first line of InstallFullDB.sh, and the script works well : )
The quest "Gordunni Cobalt" is bugged. When you get close to or even on top of the blue things and use the shovel the player will dig, but never gets anything and the blue glowing thing in the ground does not disappear. This makes the quest impossible to complete. Tested on a fresh build of the server and DB done tonight from the master branch.

I updated Classic database to the latest version and found out that additional Pusillin (Dire Maul) quest DBScript cannot be applied correctly because of collision between
INSERT INTO conditions (condition_entry, TYPE, value1, value2) VALUES

from this additional .sql update and
INSERT INTO conditions VALUES

from 0129_SD2_updates.sql
Maybe this triad (33, 1, 0) unique_conditions

) must be unique only for the same condition_entry
?
By the way, Pusillin DBScript worked very well with previous version of ClassicDB, and probably must be commited. It can be found here

In Felwood (and other areas), herbs are not in the pool system and this results in too many gameobject spawns.

Pretty sure this is DB issue, possibly SD2.
You resurrect the npc Narm Faulk with Symbol of Life, but he remains dead, the quest is marked as complete, but you are supposed to turn in the quest to the newly resurrected Narm Faulk, but he's still dead :p
Do for all profession trainers the same revert on gossips for profession trainers like in revision 7a914ed
This will allow player to know where to train when their skill level do no meet the requirement of the trainer their speaking to.

They should drop uncommon/common items, there's an unfinished list of what they should drop here:

I'm not sure this is indeed an issue as I remember such behavior from classic, though it was changed later.
It would probably be better to open an issue per place.
Removing the you learn from quest window, and using dbscripts_on_quest_end for spellcasting so marli casts spell on player, otherwise player cast spell on himself/herself, which looks wrong

The quest "Scouring The Desert" is bugged. As soon as you accept it you can turn it in for the reward. On top of that, the silithist spouts in the desert do not give the player the silithist dust to take bake to his or her camp, so they are bugged as well.

If you mean Silithyst Geyser (http://www.wowhead.com/object=181598) by "silithist spouts", I don't think you're supposed to receive an item (dust) when you use the Geyser. You gain a buff/aura and then you run to back to the machine at the camp to "turn it in". That is currently how it works in mangoszero as well so they're not bugged.

Quest item 1309 (Oslow's Toolbox) can be looted even without the quest and outside of Redridge Mountains. item_loot_template is probably the place to look.
After completion you get 450 xp instead of 540 xp. Correct pre-TBC value needs to be checked.

In quest 1948 (Items of Power, a mage quest) one must collect ten totems, go to the circle of outer binding, and create a charged rod. The problem is when you go to the circle and use the stone in the center, a charged rod appears above the stone and then disappears a few minutes later. It is never struck by lightning and the user cannot loot it for the quest item.

How it works in mangoszero at the moment:
You go to the Circle of Outer Binding. Once there you use your 10 Witherbark Totem Sticks. A stick appears above the little stone in the middle. It is not clickable and disappears after a while.
What information I have:
The lightning animation could probably be spell 10387 (Lightning Surge). I base this on the fact that spell 10388 (Summon Prismatic Exile) is used in Arathi Highlands. Since the IDs are so close to each other, 10387 is probably used in Arathi Highlands as well. Only speculating. I could be completely wrong.
Spell 9055 is cast when you use the Witherbark Totem Sticks. Spell 9056 summons the lootable stick which contains the Bolt Charged Bramble.
Gameobject 103661 (Witherbark Totem Bundle TRAP) and 174764 (Witherbark Totem Bundle) are involved in this quest as well.
That is all I know for now. I might research it again later.
