The Oracle Mobile Applications User Experience Rapid Development Kit (RDK) is a set of free resources that will help you learn faster, design simpler and build better.

Use the RDK to leverage the PaaS for SaaS advantage and accelerate your delivery of sleek, modern SaaS integrations and custom PaaS applications solutions to win customers and delight users in the Oracle Cloud.

This Rapid Development Kit (RDK) is intended as a Partner Training Kit but can also be used by any person in the wider Oracle Community. It contains sample code for PaaS and PaaS4SaaS content to be used with the Oracle Applications Cloud.

What's New In This Release

• Upgrade to MAF 2.4.x, Xcode 8.3.x, and iOS 10.x
• Default theme set to Application Cloud R13 Blue
• Ability to switch between three themes using the Settings feature
• Use of SVG Icons in theme-able areas to simplify working with themes

Instructions for using the RDK

Read the included Technical eBook to understand how the RDK code is organized and how to run the sample application on an iOS Simulator from within JDeveloper.

Pre-Requisites

JDeveloper 12.2.1.0.0 or later MAF 2.4.1 or later

Deployment Platforms

Oracle MAF is a write once, deploy multiple times development environment. Aside from adjusting style classes for different mobile platforms, a single code line can be used to generate executable files to install on different mobile platforms, including Apple iOS, Google Android, and Microsoft Windows Mobile.

While this kit sample code can be deployed to iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices, at this time it is recommended for use with iOS only. The interface may not render correctly on Android and Windows devices.
