I don't know if this is actually an issue with this addon or the specific webapp I'm having trouble with, but since I've narrowed it down to the combination of Mattermost + this addon, I'm going to open an issue here too. See Mattermost issue 8026 for the full story, but the tl;dr
is that when using this addon, the Firefox tab for Mattermost instances lights up as having activity every time the app does an XHR poll request.
I get quiet a few error in the Browser Console, apparently from titleurl.
I'm using https://github.com/Drive4ik/simple-tab-groups so perhaps their is a problem by having "hidden tab".

When websites request username & password e.g. via http basic auth a popup window is shown by Firefox. Currently it doesn't contain the URL in its title bar, the domain name of the website requesting the login is displayed in the popup text though (but this can't be matched by KeepassXC).
Is it possible to modify the pop ups titlebar or don't web extensions allow that?
I don't want to keep the added URL in the page title when I bookmark a page.
It would help to identify special sites using alternative ports.
I have a little request, to include the trailing slash in url format:
Instead of:
Because the second form is prone to auto-phishing as it also can match:
Please add feature to show full URL, not only domain.
There should be an option to show only hostname without trailing slash (even when protocol is hidden)
On websites that heavily use JavaScript and update the site title after the initial load overwrites the page title without the url in it.
The title of the windows seen by keepass on websites with basic authentication, mostly companies with intranet services, isn't changed.
Hi,
I migrated from Add URL to titlebar add-on which uses a -
as the default separator between title and URL, but this can be configured.
Now all my keepassx autotype configurations include the -
separator. Can you consider making the separator char configurable or do I have to change all my configurations?
Nothing is added in Firefox's windows title when browsing https://support.mozilla.org website, while it works with some other similar extensions (like "KeePass Helper - URL in title" provided by pbanasiak)
Currently, TitleURL updates both windows title and tabs title.
While for me (and for keepass...), to have URL in window title is enough, no need to have it also in tab title.
Actually, it makes less "readable" tab title.
Nevertheless, I guess that to have URL in tab title is maybe useful in different use cases.
So rather than to ask for removing tab title update, I suggest that an option is added to choose
