once we drop support for squeeze.

The 32-bit libpython27.a in python-2.7.10 (on windows) contains two 64-bit objects that cause the link to fail. For the vmnetx-0.5.1 release we dropped back to an older python release. The necessary fixes have since landed in the python development tree but it may be a while before the next release comes out and there seems to be some discussion whether it is really necessary to try to support the mingw forks.

It is possible to build a working import library form the python.dll using the following commands.

gendef python27.dll > libpython27.def
x86_64-w64-mingw32-dlltool -m i386 --as-flags=--32 --dllname python27.dll \
    --def libpython27.def --output-lib libpython27.a

Maybe on windows we should default to building our own import library.

spice-gtk 0.27 will support the gstreamer 1.0 API. Switch from gstreamer 0.10 to a current version.
