covid-calendar's Issues

Calendar color contrast

from EOC:
"The contrast of the grey text on the white background just barely doesn’t pass AA WCAG 2.1 standards. It’s 4.34:1 instead of 4.5:1 It does seem really light to me, perhaps because the font weight is also very light. (used SiteImprove browser extension to get that contrast result). Can you just make that darker?"

I know this is already WIP, but just making it a trackable.

Show text recommendation and calendar in a single view

From EOC:
"Would suggest that you add text to the Calendar page for users who are using assistive technology since some screen readers may not be able to read out the date range info. Adding something like “Person A needs to isolate from Sept 12 through Sept 22. Person B needs to quarantine from September 12 through September 26.” before the calendar block would make this page more accessible."

Option to save inputs in a cookie.

Client didn't love this idea because it "feels" like data collection. But it's not, and it's easy to build, and hopefully easy to explain e.g. in a tooltip.

It could look like an unchecked box at the bottom that says, "save this data in my browser for later."
