Hi,

I am using the Jetson NX for my project and wanted to use lsm 303 as i2c bus1. I had trouble connecting LSM 303 to this i2c bus 1 (which are SCLpin 28, SDA27). while jetson devices have 2 default i2c buses.The bus 8 (scl5, sda3) recognizes connection and reads the compass header as per expected. But bus 1 throws error as follows: ValueError: No I2C device at address: 0x1e

Following are some screenshots of the code I ran and the error I faced.



The compass address is detected on bus 1 as well as 8 when i2cdetect -r -y 1 is used. So to me, this does not look like a hardware problem with the pins.

I used the python file provided as an example code at the pip library for lsm303 to see the results but as my project has 2 devices dependent on i2c buses. I tried to switch i2c bus places within devices but both devices show Value error, so I am currently trying to bring into use bus1 for lsm303.

I am not sure if its possible, but can GPIO be used a unique i2c bus on jetson nx. Did you also face similar problems with i2c bus one and kindly provide suggestions as to what would be a way to make this work.
