Using multiple quads?

Hi Colin,
Thanks for the shader,

Is it possible to use output color from origin flare on child flares?
Something like origin flare is just defines visibility area by its vertex positions and not render anything, but using this vertex colors on some other sprites to achieve directional flare effect?
Example

does it get occluded behind objects?

i see you reference INSIDE which does occlusion by sampling depth on 4 corners
I don't see any occlusion so I'm wondering if perhaps it's not implemented or my settings are off?

Remove Always Visible On Top?

Thank's for the shaders Colin. I am using almost all of yours for my projects. But... How can I disable the "Always Visible On Top" on this shader? I don't know how to do it. I already search how to Always Visible On Top so I can remove these lines from yours. But I still don't get it. Thank's.
