Just confirming that the {{Location|lat|long}} template described at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Geocoding will be appropriate for this?

Just checked and I don't think we need to add precision. Does the location API give the standard deviation of the current position measurement? In a canyon with few visible GPS satellites the measurement can be off by 100s of km.

As far as I know, the Android location API doesn't. Well, not exactly, but there is http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3052517/how-is-location-accuracy-measured-in-android
