Hi luislavena!

I'm not sure what to suggest. I really want to make your life as the project maintainer as simple as possible.

I wanted to link my pull request (36) to this issue, but I couldn't find a way to do it in the GitHub interface. I did try to keep my pull request as simple as possible by making it a topic branch from upstream.

What would you like us to do to solve this? I can edit my pull request (which GitHub confusingly also calls an issue) to include the details of this issue and then you can close this issue if you like? Have you any other suggestions?

Perhaps some sort of contributer documentation would be useful to help us all avoid this sort of situation in the future.
