World Selection Screen Abilities

I would like to make it so you can select the biospheres generator via the world selection and configuration screen. It should be possible to also alter the configuration of the biospheres, so that they generate larger, with different ore distributions, and other fancy dancy things.

Fix Bridge Connections

Currently, bridges do not accurately connect to the ground level inside of the sphere. This results in some spheres not being properly connected to neighbouring spheres.

1.16.2 upgrade

Lots of things changed from version 1.16.1 to 1.16.2, so there is going to need to be a large amount of changes between these two versions.

Ores generate inconsistently

Ores in version 0.0.1 generate incredibly dense or not at all, depending on some unknown factors.

Fixing the ore generation to be more like vanilla would be a nice thing to do.

Generator Features Generate Inconsistently

With biomes that have frozen components and a snow layer on top, the glass will generate before the snow sometimes, so the snow will be populated atop the sphere.

This did not happen in the original mod.

Fix Log Spam

Currently, due to MC-197616, "Received invalid biome id: -1" is constantly spammed in the console while generating new chunks. I would like to fix this issue before publishing 1.16.4 on curseforge.

Ore Orbs

The original biospheres mod has spheres that contain ores other than redstone and coal. They would generate at more sporadic heights than the original spheres, in the space between four spheres.

It would be nice to add this in.

Configurable Biospheres Generation

There are several parts to properly making this work, but the main goal is to be able to alter the biosphere generator to have alternate sizes of spheres, variations in their size, different material compositions, different spacing, and a host of other potential configurable options.

Configurable Biosphere Biomes

The biome generation is very different from the sphere generation. There are a few ways I would like to implement this:

  • 1. Using a list of biomes, similar to the MultiMixedNoise biome source.
  • 2. Using a preset that accesses all the biomes that would normally be in the overworld.

The first will likely be the easiest to add in, while the second adds the most compatibility with other mods.
