Hi Federico, the plugin works nicely on Linux64 at least (other platforms not yet tested). There are 2 details:

1. please name the return variable shapeHandle, not meshHandle.
2. When generating the shape with your function, you first need to multiply each point with the point cloud's frame, so that the result is a shape that overlaps the point cloud. in pseudocode:

m=getPtCloudMatrix()
pts=getPointsFromPointCloudRelativeToPtCloudFrame()
pts=m*pts
