The base folder provides a Visual Studio solution. Inside the Utilities project folder is also a Makefile for Linux or MSYS.

cs-communication-utilities's Issues

Make classes inherit from CommunicationClient and CommunicationServer

We should have TCPSocketClient, TCPSocketServer and SerialPort inherit from these base classes so that 1. we can abstract them in R2Bot, 2. we can test them all at once. See UDPSocketClient and UDPSocketServer for examples.

Write tests!

It's gotta be done. Some of these require implementation + testing.

• Basic send / receive test (for all media)
• Basic send multiple / receive multiple test (for all media)
• UDP client doesn't fail when sending to an unknown port
• UDP server fails binding to a port that is already bound
• UDP client can close, reconnect and continue running
• UDP server can close, rebind and continue listening
• etc.
