React To-Do List App

Welcome to the React To-Do List App! This is a simple web application built using ReactJS that allows you to create, manage, and organize your tasks and to-do items. Keep track of your tasks easily and stay organized with this user-friendly app.

Features

  • Add Tasks: Easily add new tasks by typing them into the input field and pressing enter. The tasks will appear in the list below.

  • Check/Uncheck Tasks: You can mark tasks as completed by clicking the checkbox next to each task. Clicking again will mark them as incomplete.

  • Delete Tasks: Remove tasks from the list by clicking the delete button (usually represented by a trash can icon) next to each task.

  • Filtering: Filter tasks based on their status (All, Completed, Incomplete) to focus on the tasks that matter to you.

  • Responsive Design: The app is designed to work seamlessly on various screen sizes, including mobile devices and tablets.

Getting Started

Follow these instructions to get a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js: The app is built using Node.js, so you'll need it to run the development environment and build scripts. You can download and install Node.js from nodejs.org.

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository: Start by cloning this repository to your local machine using the following command:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/react-todo-list-app.git
  2. Navigate to the Directory: Change your working directory to the project folder:

    cd react-todo-list-app
  3. Install Dependencies: Use npm (Node Package Manager) to install the required dependencies:

    npm install

Running the App

After installing the dependencies, you can run the app locally on your development server.

  1. Start the Development Server: Use the following command to start the development server:

    npm start
  2. Open in Browser: Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to see the app in action.

Building for Production
