bumpingborders's Issues

Incidents which happen before the entering country are not displayed correctly.

The center of the cell tower marker should be on the apex of the incident in the direction of the entering country.

There are four incident types (with the cell tower always in toCountry)

  1. A -> B, incident in B:
    Border bumps towards B. A gets bigger. Cell tower in B.

  2. A -> B, incident in A:
    Border bumps towards A. B gets bigger. Cell tower in B.

  3. B -> A, incident in A:
    Border bumps towards A. B gets bigger. Cell tower in A.

  4. B -> A, incident in B:
    Border bumps towards B. A gets bigger. Cell tower in A.

At the moment, 2) and 4) do not work.
This cannot be solved mathematically. We need the actual country of the incident location.

Incidents on arrival at an airport result in too large bumps

Getting the nearestBorderPoint should include some maxDistance to check, so that incidents deep inside the new country do not distort a far away border.

Which occurs for instance when users had switched off their phones on a flight, and connected to a new cell at an airport.

Infobox of new incident is not visible if user selected an older one, before

After selecting a previously unselected incident, a new infobox is created and added atop. But the timeline only scrolls 1 up. This not always is enough, i.e. if the user selected an old incident two or more below.

To repeat:

  • click indicent-a (list: a*)
  • click indicent-b (list: b*, a)
  • click indicent-c (list: c*, b, a)
  • select incident-a in timeline (list: c, b, a*)
  • click incident-d (list: d*, c, b, a) <-- PROBLEM: d is not visible

zepto js replacement

use jquery, cause zepto hates ie

  • scroll to functions needs to be rewritten
  • use jscrollbar now ?
