azure-tts's Issues

How to define a paragraph, a sentence, a break or a pause, or silence in Azure::TTS.speak(text: "data")

In many cases, the TTS misses the correct pronunciation and our team would need some way to "tweak" the TTS to pronounce the words with the right cadence when needed. Sometimes words need to be pronounced faster, sometimes slower, and sometimes we need an emphasis in a certain phrase or a given pause between words.

For this, Azure allows passing the text as SSML, a format similar to XML for text to speech:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/speech-service/speech-synthesis-markup

We need to pass a paragraph, a sentence, a break or a pause, or silence in Azure::TTS.speak(text: "data")

Getting timecodes from Text to Speech API

Thanks for this nice wrapper around the Microsoft API.
I was wondering if it is possible to get the Timecode of the generated audio file.
Ideally in a WebVtt format?

If you have guidelines on how to achieve this I would also be happy to submit a PR
