Mothers on the Front Line (MotFL

Mothers on the Frontline is founded and run by mothers of children with mental health challenges to promote caregiver healing and children’s mental health advocacy through storytelling.

Our vision is a world in which mental health is destigmatized, respected and prioritized as an integral part of the overall health of individuals, families, and communities.

Prerequisites

Ruby on Rails

Installation: Reccomended to use a rails version manager like RVM https://rvm.io/

Current MotFL website is using 5.1.6

motfl's Issues

Add validation for users and resources

Add Organization field for resources

Add an additional text field when new resources are created for keeping track of the organization that produced the resource.

Add note box when adding resouces

Also display notes added when viewing the resource

Fix users test suite to work with permissions

Create new user page

We need a page where new users can be added.
Information:

• Name (First, Last)
• Email
• Permissions list

Fixes to successful new user page / show user page

• Showing user information has 2 "Edit | Back" parts in it
• Is deleted label is still showing

CSS nav bar drop buttons not the right width

Dropdown buttons don't fill their space currently

Create permissions table and assign to users

Authors and tags are not being properly populated with their proper values in the edit page

Convert nav bar to flexbox

Check user permissions before adding new tags to the database

• Users with insufficient permissions should not be able to type in new tags into the tag box.

• Users with insufficient permissions should get an error when attempting to add a resource using tags that don't exist. (Malicious case).

Improve look/feel of pages with CSS

Fix styling of error message when creating new user

• Error message description box should line up centered.
• Password input box should stay centered even when marked red.
