Inconsistent normalization with prefactor in column average about hn2016_falwa

Hi @chpolste , thanks for reporting the issue. I like your suggest about removing prefactor as a parameter. I will make the changes in the upcoming release to remove this parameter, and calculate that with kmax and dz using numerical integration instead.

Hi @chpolste , actually kmax is referring to the number of vertical levels of the field, so the height runs from z = 0 to z = 48km. The integral is not including the lowest level where z = 0. When integrating from z = 1km to z = 48km, the normalization factor is about ~ 6503m. Attached is part of the Supplementary information of Huang and Nakamura (GRL, 2017) regarding the integral:

Anyway, in order to avoid inconsistency, I will take away prefactor and compute it with kmax and dz in the upcoming pull request. Thanks for pointing this out.

Thanks for double-checking my maths. I'll have another look at the prefactor I calculated for my setup to make sure I got it right.
It's much appreciated that you maintain and continue to support this package :)
