Hey Teodor,

I was wondering whether there was an easy way to have make-jpkg create a source package instead of a binary one.

The background of my question is that I would like to host a couple of Oracle Java packages (various versions, even) through my company's PPA on launchpad.net, which requires a source package for upload.

Any ideas on that?

Thank you for this. I need it to run older LibreOffice for testing. But I cannot use it, please help.

When I run it, I get:

Testing extracted archive... okay.
Create debian package:
dh_testdir
dh_testroot
dh_installchangelogs
dh_installdocs
dh_installdocs: Please specify the compatibility level in debian/compat
Aborted (dh_installdocs).
Removing temporary directory: done

I don't see extracted archive nor .deb, I guess this is not finished.

I have no idea what is compatibility level in debian/compat.

I see --revision in options but I'm not sure how it can be used.
I use Linux Mint 19.2. I installed prerequisites and used fakeroot. cat /etc/debian_version gives "buster/sid".
