essays's Issues

Edges of the Middle

Thanks for sharing Middle, @dabacon. It'd be interesting to share, either yourself or in collaboration, what might be considered the methods, technologies, tools, and ideas that could be focused on a Middle Way approach. Things were binary in your writing, as they feel in our quantum community today. Ideas have emerged from Brute force that impact approaches on topological (even quantum error correction techniques), and topological pursuits generate ideas which may advance brute force solutions (control and readout techniques).

With your minor celebrity wealth, what would top your list, and my list, and others' lists of formative Middle-Way ideas to bring together. Forming this may be an enlightening opportunity for new collaborations.

Just some minor typos

I noted a few potential typos while I was reading your article. However, I don't think they affect the meaning or flow of the article. Since I can't direct message you over the tweet, I'd like to share them here.

'This is the done using…'->'This is done using…'
'But there is an more…' ->'But there is a more…'
'Brute forcers don't necessary believe…' -> 'Brute forcers don't necessarily believe…'
'..will be the the qubits..' -> '..will be the qubits..'
'…decade plus effort…' -> '…decade-plus effort…'
'…and then then by…' -> '…and then by…'

Get at?

When you say "how does one get at this information" do you mean "how does one measure it?" or "how does one operate on it / interact with it"?

I think this is where the essay went from super-readable to somewhat murky (which adding technical details will do, but the extent surprised me).

local operation cannot disturb this information, how does one get
