Early r23 grass / vroad access option

With option on: delete first 7 badge checkers entirely, move earthbadge checker to after VR

End result is: r23 grass and vroad ground floor gated behind surf only, other vroad floors gated behind surf+strength

Compiling Issue

When I try creating the ini file via the disassembly I keep getting an error on my mac. Is it possible to just download it directly, and then patch it?

Bnmode (fast resets)

Still not committing to this by any means but throwing out an issue for further updates or discussion.

After fixing some of those complaints it seems as though the entire audio engine is messed up due to I guess porting crystal's over. I don't know if it's related too, when blacking out in a battle it goes to black screen and hangs, not sure if because of audio problems, most likely.

Running shoes permaoption

Holding B with the option on should raise walking to bike speed. Not sure what to do about the bike itself, maybe make it 4x speed if holding B but that would make movement very awkward.

Exp splitting permaoption

Vanilla - duh
Gen6/7 - exp all is replaced by exp share with its gen6/7 effect and all participants get 100% regardless
Gen8 - same as above except no item required, always happens. Exp all becomes completely useless

Place a non randomizable rare candy somewhere

2 options raised:

  • Rig one of the Rare Candy item balls to use a script to give the item so the randomizer ignores it (suggested one was the Warden one so it's walled behind Strength)
  • Place an NPC that gives one somewhere central/midgame (Vermillion/Celadon potentially)

Win make error

I've tried both the 32 and 64 setup with the same error...can't "make red"

Catch EXP permaoption

Off/on, on should act as if you killed it and apply all splitting etc appropriately

Start with bike option

Make sure bike shop guy doesn't give you another one here to avoid deposit shenanigans (though who would ever deposit their bike?)

Missing pokered.ini, can't create pokered-speedchoice

I was trying to compile everything in Cygwin but the file 'pokered.ini' it's missing in the tools folder. The process it's stopped in that point.

I don't know where is that file, tried to find it on internet witn no results. Someone can help me? I'm missing something?

Yellow mode

Add a permaoption to alter story triggers / fights and their levels to match Yellow. Just for fun really. Not planning to do this any time soon.
