This is the codebase for the nightmare amalgamation of /TG/station, Goonstation, and Baystation12 codebases for the game Space Station 13.

Space Station 13 is a round-based roleplaying game set on a cassette-futuristic station where every job from Clown to Head of Security is played by users. Watch out for shifty individuals, as you may be subject to kidnapping, blood sacrifice, murder, or a dock in pay from a particularly upset Head of Personnel.

❗ How to compile ❗

On 2021-01-04, /TG/station changed the way to compile the codebase.

The quick way. Find bin/server.cmd in this folder and double click it to automatically build and host the server on port 1337.

The long way. Find bin/build.cmd in this folder, and double click it to initiate the build. It consists of multiple steps and might take around 1-5 minutes to compile. If it closes, it means it has finished its job. You can then setup the server normally by opening daedalus.dmb in DreamDaemon.

Building in DreamMaker directly is now deprecated and might produce errors, such as 'tgui.bundle.js': cannot find file.

Research Experiments don't properly handle wall materials

You will be unable to scan the resulting wall, as the experiment checks target.custom_material, and our walls use target.plating_material and target.reinf_material instead. The checks must be updated to properly reconcile this.

Recently received motherdrone as a default lawset as a latejoin AI. I suggest this is removed because it prevents the AI from doing anything outside of repairing the station without even being able to say a word.

Modsuit Pathfinding Module broken

step 3: shove rollerbed and patient into the portal
step 4: ????
step 5: be amazed that the portal will ONLY take the rollerbed and not the patient
step6: determine that despite the vastness of distance between the two, the patient is STILL buckled to the rollerbed and cannot be moved until they either unbuckle themselves or you unbuckle them from the rollerbed's new location.

Female fitting clothing sprites won't show

  1. Spawn as a female character and put on some female fitting clothing.
  2. You should see the lack of missing pixels on the side sprites. Adjusting the uniform to wear it casually fixes this.

Try wearing /obj/item/clothing/under/syndicate/skirt and adjusting it with alt click to see the difference.

Attempt to bring the cargo shuttle to the station with cargo onboard, be it mail, or an order. Taking the crates off the shuttle allows the shuttle to dock. Likely an issue with anti-abuse checks.

Me arguing why scibags should pick up slime extracts again

I think kapu forgor the fact that crossbreeding exists
I was contemplating this in my dreams last night, and although I screamed at you in my dreams and then you tried to get my execution in-game (that shift where the cap'n was tot & I was JAKET probably traumatized me to dream about it) I think we can discuss this peacefully.
Some options:
make scibags undumpable
make crossbreeds only take 5 extracts
make slime reactions all on a global cooldown (some form of space-time flux makes the slime extract peter out) like 1 or 2 seconds cooldown tops
tell me if any of these sound appealing on how to deal with the slime extract conundrum (TM)

Reproduction:

When a character with Reality Disassociation Syndrome suffers a hallucination which puts them on fire, or a hallucination which creates lava tiles which light them on fire when they walk over them, other people are capable of seeing the fire, giving the impression that they just magically lit themself aflame.

The fire doesn't do actual damage, but does seem to do stamina damage, and can also ignite any flammable objects the RDS character is wearing, such as jumpsuits and berets, causing them to be reduced to ash.

Surgeries can cause chest to become unfixable preventing revival.

What occured/Reproduction: I died on Lavalands and stayed dead for ages, once i was finally recovered the surgeons needed to replace my organs from my chest. Doing so they had to cut open my chest, but they did it multiple times (Dunno why) and when the procedure was done they attempted to use wound fix surgery to fix the brute damage on my chest. The opening of my chest kept adding more brute damage to my chest and they never realize that my chest was already marked as unfixable.
There is nothing stopping the chest from taking more damage via surgery, once the chest is already about to become unfixable.
I ended up with about 750 brute on my chest.
Workaround the surgeon did was to run augmentation surgery and replace my chest to reset the damage, but this only works once.

Not sure if this is actually a bug, but in the post round chat everyone agreed i should report it.

Reproduction:

Surgery steps seem to be wonky. When doing surgeries like Organ Manipulation on the arms, on the last step before insertion where you're supposed to make an additional incision, it'll tell you to make the incision, but due to surgical wounds, the already existing incision will be 'large enough', and the step will be skipped right after, letting you proceed with the surgery.

Also, sometimes when doing surgeries, it'll get stuck repeating the same steps ad infinitum, with there being no way to break this loop, not even restarting the surgery, effectively locking you out of being able to ever do the next step of the surgery. Happened with the last step of eyes organ manipulation and with the retractor step of prosthetic replacement.

False walls are improperly colored

game plays the first few notes and then lags a bit and then the song stops playing midway through and the viewport freezes. I don't know which instruments this effects and which songs this effects but this was consistently causing problems for me but other songs froze my viewport as well.

Invuln walls are ugly as sin

Reproduction:

Open jump to panel.
Teleport to thunder dome.
Cry because invulnerable walls/windows are ugly as fucking sin, because we never fixed their sprites.
