Background

• Use existing tools that people are familiar with and nature. For example, if there is traction from FB event pages, ideally the site can pull in feed details and populate them on the page.
• Recognize that the site is more likely to get traffic from FB and other sources than organic visits initially
• Leave some room for ecommerce potential / event ticket sales, but it's not important now. Good problem to have mindset.
• Organized as a non-profit

Goals:

• Build credibility and visibility for AFA
• Optimal pricing (good value for money, it's a non profit)
• Has to meet the following feature set:
  • Artist showcase (image art gallery)
  • Events calendar (ideally hydrate from FB events?)
  • Contact forms (for interested students)
• Accessible to screen readers. Ideally theme complies by WCAG.

• Test Wix, Squarespace and Wordpress
• Other strategies such as a static builder?
