set website (url) as background about cloud-platform

@Symbiot78, thanks for the suggestion. Can you give me an example of a website you would use? Would you still want the weather, calendar and/or todo overlays?

I'm trying to figure out how this is different from just having the browser load that website, instead of DAKboard?

I was thinking along the lines of custom stuff... like information localized to where the dakboard was.. like in a library where you could have a website showing closing times, news, information etc. etc and overlayed with dakboard. This could (if possible in your backend) give the possibility of webpage refresh.. kindda like the background images change..
perhaps you could even list a bunch of sites you would like dakboard to cycle through at specific times or intervals.
also that information could be combined with images from source... it could randomly show images from a folder but at 15, 16 & 17o'clock it would show something specific...

This may tie in to the other request about having custom iframes, but I would use a feature like this to load my weather station's website on to the dakboard display... https://weather34.com/homeweatherstation/

This has been added. See the "Website/URL" option under the source dropdown in the Photos options.

Just a note, the "Photos" section will soon be renamed to "Background". Also, not all websites allow embedding. Sites that have this disabled will appear as a black screen in DAKboard.
