Spicetify Extensions and Themes

You can find a list and description of all the Extensions in EXTENSIONS.md

Install Methods

• Method 1(Automatic updates) Marketplace:

  • Using Spicetify Marketplace. Follow it's README for installation instructions.

  • Extensions are automatically updated.

• Method 2(Automatic Updates) Wrappers:

  • This method always fetches the latest version of extensions from this repo.

  • Use the extensionNameWrapper.js from the Wrappers folder.

  • For eg. You want to install the fullScreen.js extension. So use the fullScreenWrapper.js file from the Wrappers folder.

  • If you want to modify the extension before using or don't want automatic updates, Use method 3.

• Method 3(Manual Updates) Manual:

  • Get the extension from the Extensions folder and follow the Instructions below.

  • This method does not update the extension automatically. You have to check manually from the repo if the extension is updated or not and proceed from there.

Instructions

Download the zip of the repo or clone it if you have git installed on your system.

Extract the files and choose which extensions you want to install and follow the below procedure for each extension.

Copy extensionNameWrapper.js from Extensions/Wrappers folder or extensionName.js from Extensions folder if you don't want automatic updates, into your Spicetify extensions directory:

Linux	~/.config/spicetify/Extensions or $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/.config/spicetify/Extensions/
MacOS	~/.config/spicetify/Extensions or $SPICETIFY_CONFIG/Extensions

After putting the extension file into the correct folder, run the following command to install the extension:

spicetify config extensions extensionNameWrapper.js
spicetify apply

I only ever use TV Mode on my other monitor, I never use the "full screen" mode itself. (I occasionally use the stock Spotify one, it looks better on my vertical monitor; the lyrics on-screen can't be beat though!)

So an option to hide the icon on the lower right would be awesome, since I get it confused with the stock fullscreen button. I love that you can hide that one but I need the opposite haha.

Hi, I was wondering if it’d be possible to add an option to toggle off Spotify’s stock fullscreen button. As is, without using a theme, there are two fullscreen buttons which is a little awkward to look at. Not a massive deal, but that would make it perfect imo. I greatly appreciate this extension in general!

There are PLENTY of people coming here regularly to report that lyrics don't work.
However, there already is a note explaining how to fix it.
Unfortunately, many people seem to miss it.

I propose to add a little text along the lines of "To display lyrics; install lyrics+" where the lyrics would usually go on the first start.
An alternative would be to add the notice to the settings menu or to make it show every time until it's manually turned off.
Or maybe, the best idea would be to add the message with an acknowledge button.

I believe that many people seem to miss it because they either just read the project's README but not the EXTENSIONS.md file, or because they install them through the spicetify marketplace, which doesn't show the EXTENSIONS file either.

Not sure the feasibility of this since it is another extension, but it would be really neat if similar to how there is a like song button, you could have the 5 buttons to choose a songs star rating if that extension is installed, that way I could leave the plugin in fullscreen mode most of the time.

Genius Lyric Annotations don't show in Fullscreen

As per title, selecting Genius is LyricsPlus, then clicking on lyrics inside fullscreen shows just a white block.

There is no lyrics in the fullscreen option no matter how much I configure it.

[Feature Request]: Option To Play Podcast/Song Video When Available

This is a great extension that I have been using on a small display below my monitors, I think it would be great to make an option where you can view the video of a song or podcast (maybe add an option where it only plays the video if it is a podcast or a song) automatically when a podcast or song is played that has a video available in fullscreen.

I think there may be a better way of implementing this but a few toggles in the settings I feel would be plenty.

Please consider this!

List steps to reproduce the error: Just enter full screen mode and the artist artwork and album art is lower quality (pixelated).
I've tried restarting spotify but the issue still there. I didn't have this issue on any of the previous versions, only after updating to the latest version.

A good example of the problem:

As you can see it's easier to tell around letters that the artist artwork and/or album art is lower quality.
I assume this will be a quick fix (That's just what I think. Idk if I am wrong or right).

How to change fullScreen.js background to album art instead of artist image?

I see this is a tweaked version off fullAppDisplay.js and on that one there was a setting that allowed me to choose an artist photo as the background screen or an enlarged and blurred album art image as the background. How can i switch this? thanks and sorry fi this isn't the right place to make this request.

Lyrics-plus have this feature but i can't use tap lyrics to seek feature with fullScreen.js

Center lyrics for fullScreen.js?

Maybe I look too much into things but the lyrics in full screen aren't centered but are just below the center. It would be nice to know if there was a way to make the lyrics be in the center (if there already is one).

[Feature Request] Queue in fullscreen mode

Dear daksh2k,

I hope that one day the ability to see the queue in full-screen mode becomes available. I would say this can be in the same place as the lyrics are, which is on the right of the screen. Hopefully this is doable, as it would make the full-screen extension perfect. Thanks and have a great day!

1. Clear queue.
2. Play any song and pause it.
3. Set auto-skip to liked songs.
4. Enqueue 2-5 liked songs and 1 unliked song.
5. Press play and skip to next song.

Expected behavior: Will play unliked song without any changes to the volume.
What happens: Volume is muted once the queue reaches the unliked song after skipping.

I've been around for quite sometime and remember the days of Winamp fondly. That being said, one of the best, well remembered plugins was Milkdrop 2. It was and still is in my opinion the best music visualizer out there, highly customizable, multi monitor support, graphics, text, hundreds of presets.
Ok, I suppose it's not a "new" extension idea, but it might have to be. However, if it were implemented into TV Mode instead of album art or an option to have it at a certain opacity over it maybe, or into Spicetify in anyway it would be sooo amazing! If it could have the lyrics used in it (it does support custom text and song title displayed, which warp into the visuals), that would be next level!
It also goes by name ProjectM.

When using fullscreen mode the extension allows using only a solid color or a blurred artwork. I would like to also use the Artist picture as used in TV mode since I much prefer the layout of the fullscreen mode (bigger artwork) but really like the artist background.

Hi there, just realised the lyrics-plus integrated lyrics display at the right side of the screen and it alignt to the right side of the window/monitor/display, I think it would look better if we have the ability to make the lyrics be centered within the right half side of the window just like how the song info+controls are centered at the left half side of the window in default mode.
