adapt-chartjs's Issues

Pull in colours from the theme

It would great if there was a way to colours from the theme. I can appreciate that as it uses Canvas instead of regular Divs this could be tricky. Perhaps if the Core Framework enabled theme variables to be stored as JS variables.

Example of data sets and options

Hi, I'm trying your component on the Adapt Learning. Idon't know how to put de labels and dada sets. It returns me syntax error all time. Could you explain how to introduce them?
Thank you very much.

JS breaks javascipt:compile during course build

In Framework 5.14.0, a file in the js folder breaks the javascript:compile at course build. Error is:

src\components\adapt-chartjs\js\Chart.min.js: Cannot read property 'type' of undefined

Backward compatibility with Adapt Framework

While the component works beautifully with the latest Framework, for some reason the page containing the chartjs component fails to render when previewing a course created with the Authoring Tool and an older version of the Framework (v0.2.2/v2.0.7 respectively). Is it possible to maintain backward compatibility with the Framework? See this thread in the Adapt Community Technical discussion forum for more.

Accessibilty

ChartJS doesn't seem to have native accessibility support chartjs/Chart.js#1976

I was thinking a work around could be having an aria label that can be used to describe what is being represented in the chart.
