👇 Prerequisites

Before installation, please make sure you have already installed following tools:

• NodeJs
• Git

You also need to create a Firebase Project. You can do so by following this guide. After creating a Firebase project, store the config info somewhere.

🛠️ Installation Steps

1. Fork this repository.

2. Clone your forked copy of the project.

git clone https://github.com/<your-github-username>/coding-space.git

3. Change the working directory

cd coding-space

4. Create a .env file at the root of the project folder

touch .env

5. Enter your Firebase Config in .env like this

REACT_APP_API_KEY="YOUR_FIREBASE_API_KEY"
REACT_APP_AUTH_DOMAIN="YOUR_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN"
REACT_APP_PROJECT_ID="YOUR_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID"
REACT_APP_STORAGE_BUCKET="YOUR_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET"
REACT_APP_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID="YOUR_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID"
REACT_APP_APP_ID="YOUR_FIREBASE_APP_ID"
REACT_APP_MEASUREMENT_ID = "YOUR_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID"

6. Install dependencies

npm install

7. Run the app

npm start
