Weather Forecast App Project

The weather forecast App is an app that forecasts the weather based on open weather api. It checks for current changes. The App can be used to predict the weather up to seven days. It can also be used to check your weather at your current location based on geolocation features.

Getting Started

Enable Geolocation on your device to get accurate weather forecast for your location

Prerequisites

Things you need running on your system

A good internet network

GIT and Node js with NPM(for source files)

NPM version GitHub version

Installing

Run the HEROKU link on your web browser to launch the application or follow the procedure below if you have access to the file from GITHUB.( After cloning the repository )

npm install

To Run App

2.type the following command

node server.js

Testing source file(JASMINE TEST)

Run the following code to test the app

npm test

Routing was done using Express JS

Database

A database was included to store recent search information using firebase and mongo db
