Experimental Notebook-sharing extension

Install and enable the extension.

pip install -e .
jupyter serverextension enable notebook_clone_extension

GET /user/USERNAME/clone?copy_from=/path/to/notebook will copy the notebook into USERNAME's notebook server's root directory and redirect the user to JupyterLab's "single-document mode" view of the new copy of the notebook.

See also this branch of nbviewer, which handles ?copy query paramter (similar to the existing ?download parameter) by redirecing to GET /hub/user-redirect/clone?copy_from=/path/to/notebook.

Displaying JUPYTER_IMAGE_SPEC in MainToolbar

Hi,

Thank you for your work on exposing JUPYTER_IMAGE_SPEC on dockerspawner and thank you for this extension.

I was wondering if it is possible to display the value of JUPYTER_IMAGE_SPEC in Jupyter's MainToolbar. So far my Javascript abilities are too limited and I am being unable to find easy examples to implement this.

If you know how to do it and you can provide some guidance (pointers to documentation, examples) I'd be happy to provide a pull request. I don't even know where (in which repository) this feature should be, or if I should implement a new jupyter extension just for this.

If this is not of your interest or you don't have time feel free to say so and close the issue.
