, then, add your info: bot token, support server, etc, etc... -
If you want a tutorial on how to make a bot account and the basic's of how to make a discord bot, I recommend following this tutorial
A step by step series of examples that tell you how to get a copy of Discord-Bot-Example up and running on a Windows machine:
First, you will have to open your cmd prompt, and cd to where you installed this bot, type this in your cmd prompt:
cd C:/Path/To/Your/Installation/Folder
Then, simply type this command:
npm install
That will install all the needed modules to make the bot be able to run and function correctly.
Then, type this:
node .
That will make the bot up and running!
Be sure to have edited the config.example.js file, or the bot will not start!
To deploy your copy of this bot on bluefox, it's quit simple! Just visit the BlueFox Host website, and click on login, then, click on hosting, discord bot hosting, you'll see a new page pop up, click on any plan, then click on continue, (if your trying to host a java/python bot, click on bot type and choose what language your bot is written in.). After that, you can upload your bot files to the host, either by uploading them directly or by using a FTP client like WinSCP, and then click on start! For more help, join the support server.
