displayconfig's Issues

Is it possible to export it as a mutter API plugin in compiz ?

Hi,

First of all thank you for making and sharing your project.

After I added gnome3 ppa and upgraded to GTK 3.10, like many users I met new bugs and changed design issues. One of them is mutter API call implemented in gnome control center. It doesn't work with compiz. After I detected and found the reason behind it, I began to look for a possible compiz mutter API plugin. At first I met Parinporecha's project and he redirected me to your project.

I downloaded and compiled your code. Does it work as a standalone daemon? Actually I don't know how to use it.

In my opinion, after GTK 3.10 mutter API implementation many compiz user will need a mutter API plugin in compiz.

It's already mentioned here : https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome-packaging/msg00016.html

I hope we can have GTK 3.10 compatible compiz soon.

Regards.
