db choice about datbase

oh I just found https://www.npmjs.org/package/resourceful, which doesn't have a level plugin as fas as i can tell, but I can make one. do you guys see any problems with it/think it'd be worth my time?

i used couchdb pretty heavily for a couple of years and I like its API but absolutely don't like its ecosystem + deployment situation. Also when you want to change things in couch you have to write erlang, which I don't do very well.

I'm at the point now where I'd definitely rather invest in a small module approach to this problem, even if it involves some wheel reinvention, because I've been bitten in the past by couchdb technical debt and don't want to go down that road again.

going to look at extending resourceful/restful, I dig it after a first pass.
