cd2h-labs's Issues

Changes RE: http://labs.cd2h.org/labs/, "Current Prototypes from our Teams and our Collaborators:"

RE: http://labs.cd2h.org/labs/, "Current Prototypes from our Teams and our Collaborators:"

  1. Please move CD2H project tracking to the bottom. This is mostly internal and not directly impactful to hubs.
  2. Please switch the placement of InvenioRDM and OpenVIVO tabs
  3. Please consider condensing the other two cores into one section so that they look fuller - not sure if that will work, but would be great for the top of the drop-down to look full.

Let me know if any of this doesn't make sense. tagging @mellybelly @carsonicator so that they know what I have requested. Thanks!

Add link to LOINC2HPO

I am ready to go but could somebody please answer the following questions

  • Does it make sense and is it possible to add a version of HPO on FHIR? Does cd2h include a FHIR-server?
  • What is the intended audience? I would like to optimize the demo use case for the command-line code we have.

ability to filter projects by horizontals and other tags

Once the list gets long (especially if we get a lot of external folks registering their tools in Labs), it will be important to provide basic search/filter capability.

We will want the ability to filter/search by horizontals and tags such as Data, Software, People, Education, etc.

DQe-c software link to Dave

Tim, can you forward our current link to DQe-c to Dave for posting to CD2H Labs. And do we have a new link for DQe-c V2 (or is it just part of the same repository)? I've lost track of what's where. Just make sure the original license is still attached for any rendition of evolving V2 code we post.

Enhancements for CD2H Labs

A few thoughts:

  • We should discuss how to best describe the relationship of the acknowledgements project to personas and attribution projects. This should be clarified a bit to reflect our current workflows.
  • There should be some key information added for all of the projects such as: data source(s), scope, data quality, freshness/currency, availability, technical architecture, best practices for querying the data (case sensitivities, query syntax, etc.), sample queries (if relevant), etc. Basically make it easy for people to know what they are accessing and how to best use it. There are likely other things I've missed in this list, but I think it might be a good start for the discussion.

Edit request for CD2HLabs

Please make the following edits to the main Labs page:

  • "Resource Discovery & Development" should be "Resource Discovery"
  • "Data Discovery Engine: Explore actionable best practices to increase the discoverability and reusability of your data!" should get a new header & placed under the maturity core: "Informatics Maturity & Best Practices"
  • The navigation toolbar at the top of the page does not reflect all of the projects and appears to be directional for a single project. This is fine, but we should have a way for visitors to see all of the rest of our projects. Can you add a way to do this, please?

Leaf Demo

Our developers will post demo of leaf here.

Documentation, tag, and color coding for external submissions to labs

We need a how-to guide for how external tools can register in CD2H labs. This should include guidance for inclusion - open license, functionality, etc.

In the search/filter functionality, it might be nice to somehow indicate what is an external tool and what is resourced by CD2H.
