Beeline Monitoring

A mobile-first monitoring tool for transport operators on Beeline.

This repository holds the codebase for the web application used by transport operators to monitor driver activity. It talks to api.beeline.sg and tracking.beeline.sg, whose code repos are respectively datagovsg/beeline-server and datagovsg/beeline-tracking.

Beeline Monitoring is written in Vue.js.

Contributing

We welcome contributions to code open sourced by the Government Technology Agency of Singapore. All contributors will be asked to sign a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) in order to ensure that everybody is free to use their contributions.

OCC route for Beeline Lite Alert Error

Problem: Operator report that even though tracking is turn on for OCC route, they keep getting sms that the driver app is not turned on

Fix: To send alert only when the driver tracking is turn off during the trip window

Sort Route list based on Timing and Group

Implement Favourite Routes

And then push those routes to the top. Save the list of favourites in local storage

[Improvement] Allow bus opearator to create multiple favorite list

Requested by Grab ops team.

Currently Grab ops team manages 120+ routes on a daily basis. They have plans to go up to 150 routes.
They wish to create multiple favorite list that allow that to focus on at different part of the day.

The current list of route on monitoring tool is too long for them and it is not salable for the ops.

Issue with Critical MSG for Beeline Lite Routes

Problem: Beeline Lite route is currently assume to run the whole day. When tracking is turn off for them, alert is send to the Ops Team on a regular basis which is wrong. Alert should only be send during the trip window. One example is route id 70

Fix: To send alert for no tracking based on trip timing windows

SMS alert is not sent out since 31 March 2017 for Live Monitoring

Prepare for open-sourcing

With the recent open-sourcing of Beeline, we should take steps to prepare this repository to go public. This will include adding a license, and optionally, a quick README to state what to do with this.
