This app is in a very early development phase. Therefore it is not fully tested. It is possible that the app does not work stable and that there are some ui or- performance glitches.

status quo?

Hey there,

can you give me a short overview how far this project is already? Is it possible to recieve NDI Streams on full framerate on an andorid device? What Android Version did you test on? What kind of device?

vMix source not loading

I just compiled the app in Android Studio and it can see my vMix NDI source but once i open it i just get a grey screen on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra running Android 13. I made sure my vMix is on 1080p25. The NDI Test Pattern application aswell as NDI Screen Capture on the other hand seem to be working fine on 1080p25. Also whenever you close the monitor and select a different source it seems to crash the app for me.

On a side note: I think its great that more people are making NDI tools for Android. The paid one on the PlayStore is garbage. Extremely buggy and 1€ a month? No thank you. However what i can highly recommend are KlakNDI and Nsm. Its a NDI Unity plugin and ive been using it for over a year to get a working NDI monitor on Android. Only downsides are no HX support and no audio support but other than that its been amazing.
